Corrections policy
If something on a public page is inaccurate, unclear, outdated or points to the wrong jurisdiction, we want it reported and reviewed.
Report → verify → correct → review date.
What to report
- Incorrect factual information
- Outdated legal or procedural information
- Broken official-source links
- Jurisdiction mix-ups
- Materially unclear wording
What helps us review it
Include the page URL, the specific wording in question and, where possible, the official source or document that shows why the wording may be wrong or outdated. Do not send unnecessary private matter records just to report a public-page error.
What happens next
The report should be checked against the underlying source and page context. Material corrections should be made promptly and the reviewed date updated when appropriate.
Material versus minor changes
A spelling or layout fix may not change the reviewed date. A correction to a legal source, jurisdiction, process, deadline-sensitive statement or important product limitation should trigger a substantive review of the affected section.
Urgent source changes
If an official authority changes a process or an important source becomes unavailable, the affected guidance should be treated as needing review rather than leaving an old instruction in place without qualification.
Customer records
A correction to public information is separate from editing a customer's private matter or uploaded record.
